Narrative - My SLFC
My SLFC was on May 28th 2026. A SLFC is when you show all your learning to your family at the end of your school year. You can do your SLFC in pairs or solo. This year, I chose pairs. We worked hard on our SLFC trying to add a bit of comedy in it.
On the day of my SLFC, I felt a little nervous as I welcomed my family to my Student-Led Family Conference, but I was also excited to share everything I had learned. I proudly showed them my classwork, projects, and achievements. We chose 3 subjects and were told to speak about them. After that I explained the goals or howls I had set for myself. The most exciting thing was the introduction because it was creative and very fun.
We talked about the challenges I faced and how I worked to overcome them. Seeing my family's smiles and hearing their encouraging words made me feel proud and confident. By the end of the conference, I realized how much I had grown in 5th and I felt motivated to keep learning and doing my best.
